On Friday 11th May we were so lucky – we went to the National Sports Museum in Melbourne. We are starting to learn about the Olympics in Inquiry Learning. We had a ‘Talk with an Olympian’ her name was Stephanie Moorhouse. She is a past gymnast and she won a world championship gold medal at age 15. She spoke very well and showed us her costumes. We went to ‘Game ON’ where we played all types of sporting games. It was really fun. We split into groups and had a tour of the MCG – behind the scenes. Our tour guide took us to the changerooms, player meeting rooms, The Long Room in the MCC and onto the hallowed turf. Last of all we went to The State Library. It was an awesome building.
